Chemical Industry R&D Roadmap for Nanomaterials By Design: From Fundamentals to FunctionThe next step is to develop strategic partnerships for implementing the roadmap and pursuing the R&D priorities. Vision2020 actively encourages everyone in the research community to discuss the roadmap recommendations with interested parties. Over the next few months, Vision2020 will be contacting funding agencies to discuss the roadmap and promote its implementation. In addition, Vision2020 is leading an effort to project the potential impacts of Nanomaterials By Design on energy efficiency, waste reduction, productivity, and economic competitiveness in the chemical and allied industries. Questions and comments regarding the implementation of the roadmap should be directed to Jack Solomon, chair of the Vision2020 Steering Committee (914-309-3904, jacksolomon1@gmail.com).
