Publications developed by Vision2020 are guiding research agendas in federal R&D programs and in both large and small corporations worldwide. Each document listed below was developed and led by an industry team to address a Vision2020 priority. They are available to download in PDF format. Download Acrobat Reader. "R" denotes roadmaps.
Vision2020's roadmaps identify the goals, technical challenges, and priority R&D needs for a specific area. A roadmap is the culmination of one or more workshops and an extensive industry review process to build consensus among stakeholders. The roadmaps identify the chemical industry's future technology needs based on current and anticipated market and consumer requirements.
Developing roadmaps is only the beginning. To make an impact on our industry, collaborative teams need to come together to scope out opportunities and pursue the priority R&D. Vision2020 fosters the development of partnerships and purses project funding. Collaborative R&D will ultimately lead to new commercial technology.
